Fishing marinas, boat yards and the like

These areas are considered great Pike spots especially when the main rivers are up. However, most sport 'No Fishing' signs so how are they best tackled?

Are they quiet enough throughout the winter to get away with it or would I be likely to encounter hassle? Anyone got any experiences to share?

good cammo is a must.......

only joking, probably worth a try, you'll only be asked to leave at worst;)

I've got a boat on the river Ouse at Buckden so I'm fortunate that I can fish in the majority of Marinas if I take my boat in there for an overnight mooring and yes, the sport can be awesome.

Most marinas won't allow non boaters to fish there marinas due to issues with tackle going onto boats etc and once one person starts a whole crowd will follow if seen.

If unsure, just be polite and ask, they can only say no..:D
