Hi, Quick question, anybody used the above for barbel, found a packet in the bait cupboard, must have come as a freebie last year, they look ok, but would I be better off using them glugged with a more traditional flavour, or just bung one on the hair and hope for the best.

have taken barbel on scopex squid baits, so imagine they would work,good luck

Scopex is another great old school bait, I've caught loads of barbel on Scopex flavoured meat baits, try mixing it with the Monster crab we were discussing yesterday.

Nash Scopex Squid is good on meat.
