Finally joined the forum

Pete Thomas

Senior Member
Hi everyone just thought I'd introduce myself, been meaning to join the forum for ages and have finally got around to it!

When I fish for barbel I mainly fish the Severn and Teme but have been known to stray as far as the Kennet and the St Pats fishing with my mate Paul Garner (before he left for the USA!)

Some of you may have met me on various BFW events like the grayling fish in, I was the random guy you'd never heard of before.

Hi to everyone who already knows me especially the lads in the KFAC, WBC and of course Graham.

Welcome Pete. Good to see you on here.

I have a good Severn and Wye tickets as well as the private Teme bit so we will have to meet up this seaon for a couple of late fishing sessions.

Welcome Pete..Tell us about fishing with Dick:rolleyes:

Hi Pete, only just seen this. About bloodly time you finally joined. Now what's all this about falling in the river (like you've never fallen in anywhere before)?

What's this private Teme thing all about? Count me in anyway, although I'm not sure about the late session bit. It would be nice to meet Pete as well.

Paul:

Yes I managed to fall in the Severn at night last autumn! I was landing a snotty with my foot braced against an old plank of wood when it snapped. Went in proper. Got out sharpish and one of the other lads came to help. However another one of the lads was busy texting everyone that I'd fallen in - mentioning no names (Steve).

Phil:
Great to hear from you, I decided to join the forum after finally having a look at who was actually on here. When I saw people like Graham, Lawman, Duncan, Keith and yourself not to mention loads from my own club I decided to join up.

The dogs are fine, if a bit of a pain. Have to get up at six to walk the damn things because the wife changed her job. If you're ever up in the Midlands let me know and we'll meet up.

Jim:
Are you the same Jim Foxall that organizes the float only matches at Arley? If so then I'd like to meet you too! According to the lads in Mal's you're a bit of a wiz on the float on the Severn, something I'd like to get better at.:p
