Felt-soled waders

Hi all - I've a pair of Shakespeare waders that have a felt sole and absolutely zero grip. The river I fish has pretty steep banks which, after the current bout of rain, can make conditions underfoot hazardous, to say the least.

My question is; can anyone recommend a non-slip solution? I don't really mind if it's of the permanent variety....

Thanks in advance.

Felt soles have been around for years and are designed [??] for wading on pebbles . Personally I found them totally useless. I'd be interested in Paul B's view as he will have had many more years experience of 'fluff chucking' around the world than me.
I don't even like studded waders but prefer normal heavy cleated ones. Dunlop used to make them for as little as £20. Mine have lasted so long I can't remember how long ago I bought them. Secret for long lasting is to get a cheap snow boot bag from Lidl [£3] in the winter and always keep them in the bag away from sunlight. Works for boots as well. Sunlight makes the rubber perish.
