EA River Levels

Looking forward with anticipation to the off, On the Wye for me for three days. The below link from EA is really interesting at tracking water levels, it can be used by area and river for whole UK. If you too are watching the river levels , give it a go;

Environment Agency - Home

Tight Lines

Follow the menu bar on the left of page, select river levels and drill down by region, to river, to measuring location. When you get there you will see current height and an informative graph over recent 48 hrs.

Or Just put "river levels" in the search bar....it the first result :)

well done John, not the best at IT!

If you are interested in good weather Apps for your 'smart phones' have a look at 'Weather Pro',with the upgrade to £3.49 (highly reccomended) you can get a 14 day forecast with additional details for;

Sun set /sun rise
Hours of sun
Precipitation graphs
Pressure
Wind
Humidity
current weather at location

well worth a look, had it for 6 months and use it daily, very well laid out and easy to use.

Who needs Michael Fish! SW and W for the next few weeks with showers!!

In my opinion (as a lapsed Met.Officer) a 14 day forecast isn't worth the effort in our latitude, even seven days is stretching it a bit apart from when the Azores High is sat over us.
