drennan free spool

Their current reels are not what i would buy, They look like the old Mitchell 3530RD'S from the 80's.

The drennan series 7 are very good reels for the price. I'll be buying a pair of the BRs shortly.....
 
I bought a 4000fd. Great reel, and some well thought out features. All spools are shallow so you don't waste money on line, and have a small recess for your initial knot to sit in, so you don't get a "bump" in the spool. 2 spare aluminium spools, which have a neat line lableing system too. For £55ish they are a good buy in my eyes. I prefer it to my Shimano Exages and Saharas.
