Daiwa whisker 25 qd or Daiwa castizm br 25 a

Hi all.. considering buying a pair of the above reels but unsure what to go for whisker or castizm br ? just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or reviews on either reels as some feedback would be helpful 👍
 
There’s not a great deal between them baring the way the free spool is engaged so pick the one you are going to prefer to use.
The whisker has got more tarty bits to it with the red detailing and generally it’s a nicer cleaner looking reel. More expensive mind.

Personally I don’t like QD and too much bling so BR for me.
 
Castizm br for me not a fan of the quick drag on the Whisker but do prefer the quick fold handles on them as suffer with dodgy fingers and sometimes cannot undo the castizm handles to fold down
 
Thanks Rich...I,m leaning towards the Castizm br as my current Shimano reels have br which is handy to use now and again
 
I have had both these reels, they are great reels 100%. However if I was spending that type of money, then I'd have the Thunnus 6000/8000. Absolutely bomb proof.
 
I have whiskers as well and wouldn’t be without them

This is my current view 🤣
