I’ve got a pair of them but I’ll only ever use 1

Price might seem pretty high but ones likes these just don’t come around much. I can pm pictures if needed

The Japanese built them for a short period of time I think it was the early 90’s. The baby SS reels were 650,750,850,1000 before they moved onto the (very rare) Japanese 1300,1600,2600. For a very short period of time.
Then they started getting produced in Taiwan after that and obviously are now still made.

The 650/750/1300 size can no longer be obtained but the 850 is equivalent to 1600 now and 1000 is 2600.

The Japanese models while built with identical design are a lot nicer feeling reels. They ain’t as loose feeling and you can feel the reels mechanism through the handle more on a jap reel. The tolerance on the parts I think was better
