Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if the new DIAWA 19 5000 BR LT and the DAIWA GS 5000 BR LT are the same size reel ?

I’ll stick my neck out and say yes Adam. I’m sure that the 5000 in the model number denotes the size.

I'm looking fwd to seeing this reel, I'm hoping it's just a fraction bigger than the shimmy 4000d, which is a great reel.

looks the same as this one and i have one in the 4000 size and its a lovely reel, only snipe is it only comes with one spool and you can`t get any anywhere.
