Just wondered if anyone has any experience using these reels. They seem a little smaller than the ss2600 but a better build. Thoughts gents....

Will mainly be using them for feeder work on the wye n Taff

I have a couple I use for light carp fishing on scopes, very smooth clutch and nice line lay. They do feel a bit ‘plasticy’ When compared to SS2600 and in my opinion not as well made. I’m not convinced they would be robust enough for heavy feeders in strong flows, But carp stalking and floater fishing they are spot on, and if you shop around some good bargains to be had...I got 2 for £120 delivered.

Daiwa tdr 4000....expensive but bombproof, sublime clutch and will last many years
