Got the 1.75s and the 2.75s, nice just wish they had put titanium anti fraps on. The blanks are incredible.. the 2.75 weigh only 8.6oz..

Jon hit the nail on the head. Unreal blank let down by the tip ring in particular

I bought the 2.75 Basias mainly due to reading advice off here. Not had chance to use them yet, bar a short Tench session. As others have said, they are very nice indeed. I'm not a massive fan of the flat handle, had them on match rods and I don't believe you always play fish with it against you forearm, but each to their own. I can live with the ringing, they're the same rings as on my other set of rods, so no different for me. But for a top end rod, it would've been nice to have top end rings. It wouldn't be something that stopped me from owning them though. I think the Infinity's have the same intermediates. Understated graphics and a nice matt finish, lovely rods. Just waiting for my chance to give them a go. Tidal Trent here we come.

It's a bit further than I normally travel to fish, and I detest driving. But hopefully it'll be worth the extra effort.
