Daiwa basia barbel rods

I had the 2.75. I have not used a more impressive blank. Sadly the rod was too powerful for my needs. Been looking for a 1.75 ever since. Made offers on ebay, pre courier charge escalation of up to 175 . There are 2 brand new 2.25' s locally which I can collect on market place but the sellers valuation is imho based upon different times and conditions.to those of today.

Sorry correction. 3 new locally. I have tried to negotiate . They have been n listed for many months, which I think is indicative of current market conditions.

The 2.75’ are provisional ly sold and I will be meeting the vendor in Newark at some point so could deliver the 1.75’s to that area if anyone is interested?

Yep, that's was my plan. But couriers charges are prohibitive and most intersted are skint. Expensive rods are, with respect, toys. The seller has had them for months and will sell at a loss. I have no need for anymore lessons of that kind, ha. . 5/6 years ago , I did just that often without loss. Happy days.
