Hi all looking for a nice comfy chair

I got 3 n mind

Middy 30 plus mull monty
Korum delux
Tfg comfort zone

Has any one tryed any of these
How did they last

Thx
Ross

hi ross ,i use the korum delux its a heavy chair on long journeys but very comfy but with wheel conversion kit added i can carry a full load of gear (bivvy rods buckets ect)for miles and theres no weight at all when loaded correctly :)bit to big for tight swims or roving about, i take a small nash lounge lizzard for short sessions

I have got a chub hi lite, use this on short sessions. It is not particularily comfortable, but is light and easy to set up.If i am going on a longer session i have a wychwood recliner, this is great.Very comfortable,i think it was about £70.

Indulge yourself!

If you want real comfort and aren't bothered by weight it has to be one of the Nash Indulgence chairs. :)

I am a BIG lad !
Tried the Korum and found it a bit uncomfortable and heavy !
NOW ! I Have lost few lbs, BUT wouldn't trade my Nash Indulgence Recliner for anything !
Not the lightest, BUT not THAT heavy either !

Ross, I have the Middy one, I bought it earlier in the season for stillwater fishing.

I bought it as it gives you a more upright sitting position for float fishing, whereas carp chairs tend to give you a more reclining position. It also has the attachments and side tray, useful for hard pegs where you can't use bank sticks. The star fittings work well although they are stiff to adjust and the locking screws seem flimsy ... I don't know how well they would last with regular use. The chair itself seems robust enough but time will tell. I find it comfortable if sitting very upright when the fishing is active, but like many of this type of chair, it has elastic springs across the middle of the seat and the part of the the seat in front of the springs sags. I find this makes it frustratingly uncomfortable if you want to slouch or recline a bit when the fishing is slow. Although it's heavier than my Fox Adjusta, it's not as heavy as many chairs, especially if you ditch the metal tray and attachments. I wouldn't use it for roving though.

Overall, I'm reasonably happy with the chair ... I don't use it that regularly but it does the job when I need that kind of chair and it's cheap for what you get.

Hi Ross,

Sorry I can't help you fella, never owned any of the chairs you are interested in, and I sure as hell wouldn't recommend the two lightweight things I do have (a fox and an unknown), as they are as comfortable as barbed wire underpants :D

However, I hope you don't mind if I poke my nose in here, but I just thought some one should take the time to thank Andy Millichamp for his usual great response, helpfull and to the point as ever. If the rest of us were as detailed and thoughtful as Andy on these types of thread, we would all be a happy bunch of well kitted out anglers :p

There are other great replies on this thread of course, but I think Andy deserves special mention, lol.

Cheers, Dave.

Fox Stalker. Heavy but flipping unbreakable - I've thrown mine everywhere and it still works. Even the legs still extend and I've never cleaned them in 3 years.

I'm also on the lookout for a decent chair, might take a look at that Chris. What's it like on steep banks?

Rhys, not used it on really steep banks... It has got adjustable legs though so I'm sure you can make it work.

fox stalker ,basic chair good all rounder, for lightness fox adjusta level, for comfoert but not weight chub "kennet" recliner chair....gets ya lost in ya dreams...:)

Wychwood recliner with extendable legs and also very light for the quality of the chair... Awsome bit of kit..
