Carp rod repair?

I have a pair of Torrix carp rods and both have white spots on the ceramic material on the eyes. If this is a bad sign I'd rather get the eyes replaced now before the rods are used again (probably in September). Assuming the worst can anyone recommend someone who could carry out this repair in the West Yorkshire area?

Not in West Yorkshire Dave , but you can try Chas Burns at Hooks and Tackle in York, he is a rod builder and repairer and does very high quality work . You can ring him on York 01904 610357, or Google him , try Burns Built Rods .
