Carp fishing Fluorocarbon mainline

I am looking to spool up my rods with Fluorocarbon for the upcoming year. Just wondering if anyone has opinions on the better ones to purchase.? I am aware some are springier than others and can cast like crap. I wont be needing to chuck it more than 60yards on the lakes i am going to fish.

Thanks
Darren

Tiger line is good, only thing i can say is run it out first on the bank every session and give it a stretch etc. This straightens it out every time.

Tiger line is very good…also Korda Kontour but only if you can find older stock in the old packaging, they changed the packaging last year and also the line…new stuff is awful.
This is the old and good Kontour

The only fluoro that I use these days is Seaguar Grand Max Soft Plus. The 13.7lb bs, at just 0.235mm (or 15.9lb/0.26mm) casts really well, and sinks really well too. Costs £21/100m or £65/250m, so not cheap.
Really dislike using fluoro, except for above line.

Hi Darren - I've not used myself but have you looked at Thinking Anglers FTX Fluorocarbon? If you Google around for reviews, users generally seem to be positive - less wiry/springy, casts well etc. Fairly unique as the line has a grey tint. Comes in 14lbs/16lbs BS. May be worth considering?

Looks and sounds great but very pricey for me.
