Carbotec 13ft float rod no3

I’m testing the water on here first with this before going wider afield. I have for sale a mint conditioned fully restored and rebuilt carbotec float rod.

The blank has been polished, re built with the original Fuji titanium guides and a brand new handle as per the original specification has been fitted to it by one of the country’s top known rod builders and it’s like a brand new unused rod as a result
For some reason there are no graphics on the rod and no way of identifying it other than the fact the builder has discreetly written on the underside it’s a carbotec.
Details of the builder can be provided to authenticate the rod and it’s origin
It is a genuine rod that has undergone an expensive restoration.

It’s definitely a no3. It feels stiffer than my old no2 in action and the no4 was not 13ft so actually identifying it was very straightforward

If you know your rods you will know how desirable these are.
Original bag and tek-neek tube are provided

Had it been an original un touched rod in this condition, it would be worth the best part of £450-500 all day everyday to a normark/carbotec enthusiast

As a genuinely mint but fully restored rod I’m only asking for £250.

Check out pictures, it’s a real beauty.
The antilock technology in these rods is still staggering by today’s standards. They will land anything you want to hook on lines you would not think possible…… just let it bend and bend 😁

Truly beautiful. Sadly too old now, that's me not the rod. Gutted too as I could collect!

Bargain Alert... are they similar to an Avenger Richard...
No not really Jon.
They have an action all of their own.
The tips are a little slower and stiffer than the avenger 2000 and the rest of the rod progressively bends getting stiffer but going much further past what an avenger 2000 will.
For me the avenger is a better river rod. This would be an absolute beauty on a still water with a waggler sat inches from a Lilly pad. Hit and hold type of stuff is what they were developed to do.
