Bulk Bait Supplier in Middx / Surrey?

Adam Francis

Senior Member & Supporter
Hi all.

I'm looking to get some bulk hemp, breadcrumbs, seed mixes for groundbait etc etc for the coming season & wondered if anyone knew anywhere around Weybridge.

I have gone to Percy Chapman in Twickenham before but wondered if there was anywhere else cheaper or closer??

Thanks in advance.

Hi Adam,

Try these people www.gjwtitmuss.co.uk look on the list on the left, and scroll down to 'fishing baits', then go through the various headings there.

No nearer to you I suppose, but a decent selection, and they do mail order if it is too far to travel. It is a few years since I used them (they are not far from me), and they seem to have gone a bit commercial since then, but still seem reasonable?

Cheers, Dave.

Wraysbury Baits next to the bird seed place in Wraysbury, if you go there take cash as when I was there a few weeks ago they didn't have a card facility
For hemp try the pet centre by charlton tip/sunbury golf course, picked up a 15Kg sack for £17.50

Thanks for the responses. I'll definitely have a visit to the garden centre.

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

20KG of hemp for £25.99. I just purchased some from a well known tackle store for £37.99. There may be a difference in the quality of the hemp or there may not!

Good site, worth a look.

Neil, not sure of the name but as you turn up the flyover from charlton side its the immediate turning on the right (left if you're coming from shepperton studios direction) there's a garden centre/camping shop at the far end of the road, the pet place is near the top
only tried it on the off chance, was directed there by a guy at the nearby stables

hope that makes sense

Yes it is Imberpark kennels and pet food supplies in Nutty Lane - quality appears to work based on past sacks I have bought from there - worth adding a little salt whilst you boil it up or even some chilli powder to really please the Mrs... :)
