bretby pools

hi all,

was looking through my fishing diarys from years back and came across bretby pools, it was owned by the BAA. Does anyone know of the pools and if so what has happened to them.

sorry steve, bit late getting back, BAA had bretby pools about twenty years ago, they were situated over by ashby de la zouch, leics, if my memorys correct. Great set of pools, remember my dad having some really good bags of tench from there, upto eighty pounds in a day, just wondered if you could still fish them.

Hi, the BAA dropped those pools years ago, probably not long after you were fishing them by the sound it. Don't know what happened to them
