Anyone see any advantages in loading braid wet, to centrepin or fixed spool??

Braid ...wet or dry??

I use braid 99% of the time and no.
Never been unhappy with the way braid loads so never tried to improve on it.
The only disadvantages I've found with braid is its tendency to wrap around the rod tip occasionally and to stick to the rod blank in damp conditions.
Interestingly a few weeks ago I fished most of the day in very strong wind, right in my face, maggots thrown to midriver often returned to the bank, no wrapping round the tip all day!! Food for thought.

The only reason I would wet the braid is when it's dry to prevent frapping on the rings. If you have k series guides no probs.
