Braid to hook length

I think majority on here use mono to mono,or flouro mate,nice and simple

A lot of people use braid main to fluro leaders and hook lengths. Back to back grinner is as good as out to Joining them. You don’t need rig tube to protect it just use a decent length shock leader

If you make the fluro hook link too short you will get snap off's.

If the fluoro is for a hooklength only why not use a swivel. If it is for a shockleader uni to uni.

For joining nylon/fluro to braid I use a small swivel if it's for a hooklink, for a shock leader or when a swivel isn't suitable it's got to be an Albright or Alberto knot. Looks more complicated than it is.
Double grinners etc are strong but only about 50% of the braid B.S.. If the braid is crushing the nylon it will cut through. Double the braid and tie the knot with the nylon/fluro if using the Albright. I do 10 up and 10 down.

Can’t you tie braid to a quick change swivel ( palomar ), then loop knot the flouro and hook onto the quick change and cover with a sleeve ??
