Braid and monos?

Been using the berkley whiplash last few years now and just decieding to go back to mono line or not, think fishing different rivers like the wye, wavon, Dove,severn, it may be better to have both so what mono would anyone reccomend?

For the Wye I wouldn't use braid at all as there are lots of rocks. I use Suffix Xcelon and Stren which I got from the states good lines. I am sure others will give their favourites too.

As a rule, 10lb on the Avon & Severn 12lb on the Teme, Dove and Wye.

Big Game in 12lb clear for me also. Its thick stuff but its not a problem for me as i fish some snaggy swims, and it can take some abuse without snapping.
