boxmoor angling club

it used to get poached like mad by large groups of kids, a bit further upstream is run by another club, it was free at one time until the problems.
there is barbel in the upper, not sure how many.
there's more in westbrook than carp, there is some good tench.
snooks looks like a nice float fish venue.
 
i hear you can only join otterspool through a local tackle shop and there is a waiting list, their bit runs through that estate which is patrolled by strict estate wardens.
there was a restock of barbel some years ago in the upper.
