What a top notch article Keith . Clearly a LOT of thinking and observation has in to your approach and techniques , a really great read . I don't think I have ever seen an article on this subject that is so informative but at the same time easy to read and understand . I bet it gots a lot of people on here thinking radically about how they fish for barbel , me included . Excellent ..
 
Keith, your articles are really starting to fire me up ! a fantastic read i thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's years since i've done any float fishing on a river, and never with the thinking and tactics that go into yours.

I might be in touch for some advice on a decent pin for a begginer. :D
