Berkley Gulp Sea Baits

Has anyone tried out these "hybrid" baits? Opinions seem to be mixed on other boards i've looked through. Planning a session after i finish my exams in 2 weeks and wasn't sure whether to give them a try or not. They seem quiet expensive compared with fresh ragworm !!

I wouldn't mind paying for the "brand" if they are a better / good alternative bait.

I,ve seen the ragworm used to good effect boatfishing for plaice, but I would use the real stuff every time from the shore. #
