Hi I'm looking for a good B and B near Ross on wye must be fisherman friendly and preferably near a pub

Cheers carl

I can recommend the following pub Carl, nice drop of beer, good grub, not too far from the river and definitely fisherman friendly. There are day tickets available on the nearby Worcester Club stretch at Bishopswood or a couple of beats of The Wye and Usk.
Contact Erja & Alan at the Anchor, they have double, twin or do let single rooms also. I've stayed with them a number of times and have enjoyed it. Erja, Alan's wife ( a Norwegian name) seems to be the main contact. Alan looks after the bar and kitchen....hope this helps. PM me if you want to chat about the pub or fishing and I'll let you have my contact details

bed & breakfast Forest of Dean Anchor Inn

Thanks Bill,

Looks like a nice place we will be fishing the Prince Albert strech near Goodrich but appreciate the offer of day ticket info

All the best Carl

Carl I can also recommend the Anchor but beware it doesn't open Sunday nights (does it Bill). I stayed at the White Lion at Ross earlier this week, Dave the landlord is also an angler. Good place to stay. But to be fair there are a lot of good B&B in the area. Just google where you are going and see what it throws up. Some even have their own fishing rights.

Try the White Lion,Wilton Bridge, RoW.landlord nice bloke and very knowledgable angler. Its right on the river and a short walk to the centre of town also serves very good grub?

How this helps and have a good trip.
