Hi all!
I was fishing the Teme at Cotheridge the other day and was amazed when i saw a decent sized barbel flashing mid water. I continued to watch and it just kept flashing as it swam towards where i was sitting...and then continued back out in one big circle.
Is there a possiblility of it being an injured fish (maybe line caught round its fins or something?
I've seen barbel flash like this before, but only once or twice when feeding, not continuously like this. It was daylight and only around 1.5 feet of water which also seems a little strange.
I threw a handfull of small pellets in to see if it was feeding, but no sooner had i done that, it swam off upstream.:confused:
