A bit of both tbh, my daughter, bless her, keeps buying them for me as birthday presents and I don't have the heart to tell her that they don't have allot of content I don't already know.

And don't believe everything you read on Bob's blog, the man has a habit of editing peoples comments before he posts them. I have posted the original comments 'you know where' if your interested.


However; if you can put up with his patronising brand of sarcasm and his stilted delivery and if you have only been around the scene a few years they are probably worth a watch, you might even pick the odd tip up from them.

"you know where" is where I clicked on the link that put me onto his inane website, guess that makes 100,001 hits on his site, thinking about it, possibly 100,002 as I my puter was on a go-slow, so retried 5 mins later.

As for his "patronising brand of sarcasm" No I'd say its blatant arrogance!

"his stilted delivery" I hope you ain't referring to his lofty physique, more his poor presentation skills?


Like you say, tips can be picked up and I've seen some of the underwater footage, a real eye opener.
Good luck with your sale Jerry, I reckon they'd be good viewing for the right angler.

cheers colin i enjoyed em anyway. some good tips and well shot i thought, the under water scenery is stunning.
the only reason i,m selling them is the money is going towards a new "trophy" rod.
