Barbel books

Just wondered what your favourite Barbel book is?

Mine still is " Barbel" the first from Barbel Catchers and Friends.( 1998).

Why has Ray Walton not written his own book, surely this would be on most barbel angler’s bookshelves?

Happy New Year.

Micky

my favourites

its close but for me BARBEL A LIFE TIMES ADDICTION by TREFOR WEST is the best followed by QUEST FOR BARBEL.
both informative but love trefors humour in his book:)

Ditto John's vote for Trefor West's book. All you ever wanted to know about fishing with ellipse pellets :)

One book on my wish list is Jon Berry's 'A Can Of Worms'.

Were can I get BARBEL A LIFE TIMES ADDICTION from, an how much is it as iv seen it for £85 on amazon which seems a bit steep!!!

Roger Miller's book is hard to beat as is The River Prince by Yates and others.

I have read most and my clear favourite is Tony Miles' Elite Barbel, great book, highly recommended

Rich,

If you have any Crimbo money left then you can now snag Jon's book for £25 from Medlar (£10 less than the launch price).

Cheers

Les
