Baiting your swim

Just curious as to how everyone baits their swim. All summer I've been fishing my local and its been low and clear. I've used groundbait in a feeder.

I arrived today and felt like I might need a different approach (I'm not really sure why) due to it having an extra 2-3 feet of water.

How do you bait up and do conditions determine what method you use?

I use a spopper mostly.
I’ll use it all year round in all conditions. The only thing I change to the conditions is the type and the amount but it all goes in the same way.

I like the idea of these but the flow is so aggressive where I was that I worry I'm baiting up about 4 swims downstream. 😂

They deposit on the river bed so should get held up around your bait. They are used on the tidal Trent extensively.
