Bait and tatices for collingham wier

Morning all. I am off to Collingham Wier next month for a day session. never fished for barble before as the Wensum as run dry of them. can anyone give me tips and hits or baits and tatices, am I best using maggot feeder and casters or boilies/pellets and pva bag for this time of the year.

Do you mean the Collingham stretch or the wier itself? It can be tough in the higher pegs this time of the year, I would still use boilies but keep loose feed down until you catch it can easily be overfed.

thanks dale. not sure exactly as going with a friend he didn't say the tidal stretch so I thick it could be after weir.
