Avon Scales - Contact Us

It says on the website that they no longer service Avon scales, but they do not specify the type, i.e, spring dial or digital,so best give them a ring or e.mail....it used to cost about £20.00, which I myself did not want to pay when cheaper more reliable alternatives exist, mine are 3 oz out and will stay that way.I also have 3 other sets, digi and spring, all are more reliable than the Avons, but have less street cred. :0)

David, could you recommend anything that you,ve used ? thank you.

Cheers Dave, been onto Avon this morning £17 to refurb them plus scale pouch aswell. sent today return saturday.

I bought some recently second hand, mainly for nostalgia reasons, but i would like to use them with confidence for the smaller fish i target.

My needle sits at 2oz no matter what i do and they weigh 3oz lighter than my reubons.

My question is do i need to live with this or would a service make them fully functioning and accurate?

I have a set of avons like brand new I like em just hard to zero so im thinking of getting some fox digitals as a second pair anyone got any?
Regards
