there is a john wilson museum here, i’ll take some pictures tomorrow and post them . i’ll find out what john / dave had to do with it here .

You are a lucky chap fishing there, the Wilsons did a series of vids there, you might like those. Dave was full time there, and John joined him until his passing.
John you might have guessed is hero of mine, and many others too.

Btw I am ex Bristol too, Brislington mainly, born next to the Board Mills lol, now Bream heaven I understand.

Probably fished Saltford Keynsham Chew etc too.
Anyway I assume you are not 'Gas'...lived in Whitchurch Lane Hartcliffe, then family moved to Brislington, ended up in the sticks at Clutton, ran away and joined the RAF .

used to fish keynsham park as a kid , used to hold some cracking roach
