i got number 7 wrong, but the EA have this wrong as you cannot beat face to face talks.
 
Q4 - "It's possible that the river is being gradually polluted and the fish population is declining, so the otters' food source is low"

That just about sums up their priorities. Never mind the fish population declining as an issue in it's own right, the poor, cuddly little otters don't have any food!

Oh and I got 7/8 (for the same reasons as David). Just common sense.

EA Test

Re priorities. 'The river is being slowly polluted' but we won't use our statutory powers to stop it straight away! 6/8...got bored reading the questions and 'skimmed' too much!
 
i answered the way the EA would want in their middle management cuddly otter, anglers come last language.
 
I stopped reading the questions after the 3rd one and started going for the most 'namby pamby dont actually do anything' answers, and ended up getting the rest of them right!

What a Lame organisation.
 
Same as Ash, tell them what they want to hear, and show them what a limp wristed set of hand wringing nincompoops they are ...................... lots of offfice / management speak.
Got them all right..... may join and try to alter the management mind set from within..

Lame organisation is exactly right. I wish our license money didn't go to them to be spent on everything but angling and anglers.
 
Exactly the same score and same mistake as Dave H. You may well suggest that they hold a 'phone conference, but the chances of these managers missing out on a jolly-up are about the same as me beating the cr@p out of Tyson :D

Other than that, as has been said, tread the limp wristed path, and as usual cr@p from a great hight on the head belonging to hand that feeds you...the job is yours :rolleyes:

I'm very surprised the word 'diversity' didn't come up,
after all, that's the modern catch word to use these days, drives me mad!!!
 
2 out of 2, I was bored s**tless by then. I justify this by the fact that I work for them and get bombarded by this sort of garbage on an almost daily basis. Obviously keeps some post graduate in a job for another year.

That must mean you are in the 'Flood prevention' department...because as far as I am aware, those vandals are the only branch of the EA that actually do anything .....:D

Having spent more than 30 years working in various "PC, do not upset anyone" corporate environments I stopped reading the questions and just went for the spineless PC answer and scored 8/8.
 
What a load of rubbish! 8/8 and i didnt even read the questions after the " lets save the cuddly otters one!" shows why our waterways are in such a state, and why polluters get away with so much!
