anywhere near telford???

hi all,
looking for some help again, i will be stopping in telford on sunday night and just wondered if anyone could tell me of any day ticket barbel fishing nearby? pm if preferred

Ironbridge...only a couple of miles from Telford. A decent stretch of "free" EA bank, plus some on day tickets, see the tackle shop in Ironbridge itself.

leon, i got your pm, i am away on the fish-in all weekend so what i suggest you do is ring duncan at rod n gun telford, 01952 503550 he wont set you wrong, a very good part though is behind the brewery pub at coalport. failing that head for the meadow below buildwas road bridge & fish below the power lines (pylons so no problem) just as it comes off the fast water.
down towards the power station (taa bank) can alswys produce a few fish too.
