What a surprise, i really hate seeing Rats but how could i not feed this one when she came to befriend me.Too tame to be a totally wild Rat,at one stage she sat on her backside and raised both her arms begging for some bread.Everyone that fishes the stretch knows her and she makes lots of friends.

Mark,..I hate rats,..but I could'nt have resisted that cutie.
I've fed the foxes at foxes pool [staines] and fed these mink at Throop.
I know I should'nt have been encouraging them but I even had one on the rod butt. A family of at least 4 or 5.

I was feeding them spicey meat and my fishing buddy [who was fishing nearbye] was moaning about having to put up with 'flatulent mink spoiling the ambience of the surroundings!!'

When I first saw her I thought she was an escaped Ferret.
Just got a glimpse through reeds on the far bank!

That is one BIG rat???
