Another new guy!

Hi all,
Thanks for allowing me to join, I live in Sussex and regularly fish the Sussex Ouse.
I recently (June 2020) recindled my passion for angling, as I stopped when I got into my late teens. Until October last year I had never caught a barbel!
I now have one in the bank, 4.5lb. Not massive but my word how much fight they have! Such a beautiful fish too.
I'm hoping to get into catching more, learning how to identify swims/conditions and building up my rig and bait knowledge.
My first one was caught on my own home made boilies and ground bait!

Anyway, tight lines all 😁

Welcome Ben. As Alex has said loads of knowledge and experience on here and a great desire to share it by so many. Enjoy 👍
