Angling Trust Kayak angling

Have just been reading about the Angling Trust support for Kayak angling on inland water ways on their website. It appears to me that this would be canoeing in through the back door, poaching waters they have no membership for, and disruption of legitimate angling.

Is this a threat to our fishing, or some thing to be encouraged?
