Whilst many of you may know all about this, I hadn't until this morning, but it looks like a really sound idea to me. It's hardly much trouble to pop your disused line in an envelope and post it off, or to drop it into a participating tackle shop next time your picking up some bait.
Some of the stats they quote on the site, certainly made me sit up and think:
Well done to those anglers involved in setting it up, although I do wonder, is this not the sort of thing that we should expect the AT to be organising?

Some of the stats they quote on the site, certainly made me sit up and think:
- '400 MILLION METRES - The amount of line discarded per annum if 2 million UK anglers only re-spools 2 reels with 200m of monofilament line once a year. That’s enough to get to the Moon!'
- '600 YEARS - The amount of time it takes for heavy monofilament to degrade in a landfill.'
