Anyone fished it recently?any news welcomed..........
Thanks in advance.

Was thinking of having a day on there but after the response probably not bother ! Website has no catch reports so thought I would ask you guys,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Not fished it for years Nick. As a day ticket only and short stretch, there may not be many folk on the forum that fish it regularly, if at all.

Nick i aint been there for a few years due to moving to wales but i can tell you that if you ring the guy that runs the estate/fishery is really helpful and informs you of how its doing at the moment and the barbel are always present, whether you catchem on the day is a different story, take a drive over there , ask if you can have a look around before you arrange a few trips and you will fall in love with the place but mid week is the quietest time to visit or fish it mate:)

Nick, I asked a similar question on another forum, as I was considering taking my old man up there for a day. The response went something along the lines of: "It'll be mega busy, even mid week, with people running across the lawns to bag the best swims....."

Would be better if he would limit the numbers....... Lovely place, fished it 3-4 times with mixed results (best day was 4 Barbel to 9-14). Contains some good Chub too. Very pretty setting, but best fished mid-week after the summer......

Hi men,

The Wasing waters start from the bridge downstream both banks . They are also above the mill on the canalised river before the weirs , and they have the Eynbourne river right up to the run off of the little weir .

Thanks for all the replies guys, if it a circus then I will avoid it, really not my kind of place.

I had someone cast over my line whilst playing a Barbel !! That's all you need to know.....
And at weekends, yes it is literally a 'foot-race' :(

My Pb came from there in 2006 on one of the windiest wettest days I ever fished. Haven’t fished it since about 2008 but will always have happy memories. It was like clockwork, 45 mins after sunset the rod would go more often than not.
