Advice on what base liquid for a glug

Ray Heath

Senior Member
The flavour I used to use as a glug for my hook baits is no longer available so I need to use a concentrated version and they recommend using one of the following 3
Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine

Has anyone had any experience with any of these I am leaning towards dmpt but would like to know if the other options are better

50-50 Glycerine-water should work, Ray. My carp fishing mate uses that ratio to flavour his hookbaita. He also adds a colour as well. Still PVA friendly too.
