Sometimes people just want something made exactly how they want it…..
That is entirely the idea behind these …….for you to make your own feeders exactly how you like them but without the hassle of having to cast lead.
My bases are without question the best solution out there for something decent and quality to strap onto the back of a canister or tube or whatever you want for a permanent job. They are not naff dead cows or lead straps that just fall off with a bit of pressure.
You’ve got two thick lugs which slot nicely into a drilled 7mm hole. Once in you simply bend them right over hard against the inside of the case and that’s it. They are not coming off. They are designed to go in once and stay there for the lifetime of the feeder.
They have an internal radius to sit tight against cylindrical objects and the coating on the inside is single layer and smooth finish.
On the outside they are flat to sit hard on the bottom and this coating is double thickness and textured finish to aid with grip and durability.
Coating is gravel coloured
The link is my usual 45lb stainless wire in silicone rubber sleave. There’s a lot more to them than a poxy bit of lead.
Sizes here are 4x 2.6oz and 4x 3.6oz so that you end up with finished feeders of 3 and 4 oz.
