4” Trudex Centrepin Reel for Sale

A fully refurbished J W Young’s 4” Trudex. This reel has been completely stripped back to bare metal, primed and resprayed (2coats) with an epoxy powder paint and the colour matched as near as possible to the original.The “centrepin” and bakerlite end cap have both been replaced. This work was undertaken by a retired time served engineer and has been done to a high standard. This reel spins true (without wobble as you would expect having had the centre spindle (pin) replaced). It has a good check ratchet and is fitted with the line guard as original. Lineguard can be adjusted to suit LH or RH wind. Reel has not been used since the refurb.
