12 ft harrison chimera no 3 Question

Just purchased a new one of these any suggestions on what reel size you would put on it I’ll only be using it for the big rivers like the wye & Trent

As previously advised I used 6000/8000 Aero GTEs for years and felt perfect
Now on 6000 OCs and even better - used them a lot on the Wye - perfect bedfellows.

Very very rare but shimano did make a 6010 model years ago with fighting drag rather than baitrunner. I repaired one some months back. It’s the one and only time I’ve ever seen one. Worth keeping an eye out as they do pop up ……. Once in an eclipse

Didnt realise they were that rare...I have a pair and are imo second to none.

Don’t see them often at all Neil. No where near as common as the baitrunner Version

Not sure if they are very desirable or not ….. I like them

They won’t come back looking the same Steve if you’ve lent them to a piker

The handles would of been used to stuff foam down a Mackys gut and them bail arms are just treble hook magnets
