Yes but it was 40 years ago so probably not relevant now ;)

TFG Freeflow centerpin ratchet spring broken.

These are much smaller than biro springs, or the ones I've come across at least

TFG Freeflow centerpin ratchet spring broken.

You could always swop them over to continue using it. Same thing happened to me and whilst I did manage to buy some springs of the correct size online the wire gauge and hence the 'springiness' was higher so it tends to keep pulling the ratchet back on when I don't want it to. Still on my to do...

    Wanted Korum Neoteric 5000 baitrunner

I stand corrected, my apologies, the tackle trade is obviously moving too quickly for my ancient brain to keep up.

    Wanted Korum Neoteric 5000 baitrunner

There's no such thing. The Korum Neoteric is a rod the Shimano 5000 Baitrunner is a reel

    Aire Gallery

The latest image in the Aire gallery seems to have nothing to do with Barbel or indeed the River Aire http://gallery.barbel.co.uk/index.php?c=CATCHES&r=Aire&img=5941

    Wind

Depends which bit your fishing, on the tidal an upstream wind would be from the North so probably not a good direction

    Centrepin help needed

Try hot (or even boiling) water mainly on one of the pieces then try to separate (use a cloth or gloves obviously to avoid burning your hands)

    Rod licence

I emailed them about the delay earlier this week and received a reply stating there were delays due to higher than expected demand and I should receive my license within the next 10 days

Total Fishing Gear Free-flow centrepin and Recommended Retail Prices

I've got one (the Freeflow) and I'm very happy with it, been mainly using it for Grayling fishing up to now. RRPs are fantasy prices for lots of fishing tackle and it's about time the practice was clamped down on, I believe a complaint to trading standards would succeed based on what items...
