    Cromwell weir outing

    Well I got my 1st barbel had a great 3 days fishing. I was absolutely shattered when i got back and on Saturday morning every muscle in my body was aching. But I had a great time loads of banter and belly laughing. Plus I lost barbel virginity.

    I know there is mixed feelings on colingham weir. But I'm off there at the start of September. I've been invited along foc. Rude not to turn it down. I'm fishing 5 or 6 apparently. I've not managed to secure my 1st barbel locally so hopefully I'll get one on this trip.

    Just put this up to say hi. Got back into fishing in September after a 20 year break. Fished a couple of lakes but much prefer the river at the minute. Im in Northamptonshire and mainly fish the nene. I know its not the greatest place for barbel but i do like a challenge, I know they are there...
