Hi all bit of a scrounging post this, over the years I've lost loads of caps off these, cast out with a block end, wound in with an open end .
I now cable tie the bottom cap to the feeder and it doesn't happen any more but it means I've a load of capless open ends.
Does anyone have any spares...
Have it on good authority that 4000 two year old Barbel have been stocked into the Trent at Thrumpton. I fish this area a lot on the stick and bolo so should be interesting to see if they have stayed put
Hi.
I'm selling my Shimano Nasci 3000. It's the double handle version. Front drag, 3000 size. Used once on the Trent for Skimmer fishing, it's loaded with 8lb Browning Black Magic braid. Makes an excellent reel for the smaller river man or medium feeder fishing or lure fishing.
Looking for...
Hi gents
Anyone with any knowledge of the day ticket water in Ross between the Rowing Club and Wilton Bridge, I know its day ticket tenner a day, wheres the parking ?
Have been invited there next Tuesday for a day, any info ? Is it any good, do the fish run big or is it shoals of splashers, any known favoured swims tactics and bait.
You arrive at your swim. Spopper a gallon of pellet down the middle of the river, you have a handful of pellets left.
You throw the pellets into the margins where its about 2 to 3 foot deep.
You set your rods up and are about to start, you hear a splash and see a swirl where you fed your...
First month a mixture of illness and bad rivers, led to one bite less session on the Upper Trent, the. Once the rivers settled and got lower and clearer, my days off and availabiliry to fish ended with me being on the rivers at times when I knew I wouldn't catch and didn't.
I decided to spend...
Thinkng of getting a pair, anyone here used this model and size, what's the verdict I'm after them for middle and tidal Trent as well as the Severn below Stourport
I've just bought one, and am not keen on the locking system on the pod legs, is there an adaptor that fits the thread on the pod that would enable other bank sticks to be used instead of the ones on there as the thread is larger than the 3/8" industry standard.
Not advertised.. In store only limited numbers, the Korum 2018 Barbel rods the 13ft 2.5lb model they are selling at £42.
Thank me later
I've had two, minus the staff discount as well 👍👍
Anyone been, anyone know much about it, permits needed, size of rivers, head of fish, anywhere with camping facilities I quite fancy a few days camping with the family next summer but tying it in with some barbel fishing, any info appreciated gents
