That was the beauty of the AA gated car park top of cottage Lane just before the rdaa car park for their four lakes. I use to do a night or two on the river knowing my car was safe when I was a member of aa. Fifteen minute walk with barrow alongside Burghfield lake. Great stretch of river.

The rdaa ticket is great value Martin. You've got the option of the night permit as well.Some very good sections of the Thames to go at,Wallingford B being a favourite. The Kennet fished quite well for Barbel last season.

Will never go back to Digitals. Past experience and fishing buddy's use of them. Imo there cursed with a death wish and **** up exactly on time when you need them to be reliable and spot on.
