That was the beauty of the AA gated car park top of cottage Lane just before the rdaa car park for their four lakes.
I use to do a night or two on the river knowing my car was safe when I was a member of aa.
Fifteen minute walk with barrow alongside Burghfield lake.
Great stretch of river.
The rdaa ticket is great value Martin.
You've got the option of the night permit as well.Some very good sections of the Thames to go at,Wallingford B being a favourite.
The Kennet fished quite well for Barbel last season.

Both mid and tip the same at 30 and 10

Recently bought the 15 ft Accy Specimen as I was missing a 15 power in my collection.It was down to a choice of either the Daiwa conny or the Acolyte.
Chose the Drennan being 34 grams lighter,the conny power advertised at 221 grams.Love the versatility of the new accy.Still swapping reels around...
