My club has introduced a blanket ban on braided mainline. Could anyone recommend a nylon more like braid ie. minimal stretch, very limp and strong for its breaking strain? Please, nylon feels like using elastic after over 20 years using braid.

As per title. The ratchet mechanism has 2 small springs which act on the triangular ratchet 'tooth'. One of them has broken, unfortunately the wrong one to continue using it. Anyone know who could supply such a spring? Thanks.
