But looking at the forecast what with a fair few showers on the way conditions for the opening day of the season look quite favourable. Probably jinxed it now though 😕

What's everyone's go to close season plans? Think I'm going to do a bit of fluff chucking when time allows. My quest for a double figure tench may be doable too as I've found a bit of a gem.

With the current river/weather state I thought I'd enquire about meat flavours. Are you a pure garlic powder man? Perhaps at wurst a curry nut? Or a birra both? How do you do yours?

Just heard the sad news that Bob Church has passed away, very sad.

As some may see this as trying to relight an old fire. Eric Edwards posted this on the PAC facebook page. These guys were nicked because the PAC members who reported them did it right. They got the incident number and left the gill net in the river giving the EA, the likes of Chris Ponsford...

To report two blokes fishing a tiny Thames trib. Asked them to pack up but they just ignored me so I phoned the EA, got the all-important incident number. Unfortunately I couldn’t wait around to see the outcome.
