For trotting my favourite reels are still the J W Young BJ (Bob James) reels and although I have never had a Lythe reel or even been tempted I cannot believe they can be that much better. I have owned a lot of pins including Witcher reels and yes they are ok but still prefer the BJ reels...

Yes I did Alan but they couldn't help. However it doesn't matter now as I have realised it is a plastic grommet or cap that is missing not the lever. Thanks anyway Mike
